Simply clicking it will do nothing - I must have the preview turned on to go into the Configure setting, but once there, all the options are locked (besides the check-boxes).

Unfortunately, I never tried it out on the W7 partition before the install, so I am unsure if it is this install or if the issue would have existed on the old Yes. I'm not sure if I am missing anything import to get this running correctly. NET and Direct X 10, et cetera, to run most video related programs correctly. I recently did a fresh install for W7 and thus had to re-install things such as. I run Windows 7 64-bit through BOOTCAMP on my iMac (Late 2009).

Perhaps part of the issue is my computer. It works fine with the packaged capture software, and in essence, OBS, but will not allow to change the input from HDMI to Composite/S-Video or Component. The connection typically comes from my GameCube running at 60 FPS. My recommendation and what I use personally is the Elgato 4K60 Pro.I capture SD video through the Elgato component to 7-pin mini-DIN cable (connecting the composite end to the Red input - the correct input). If it works fine there but not on your PS5 you know that at least the capture card is working and it must be one of the issues from above. If the issue still persists, try the Capture Card on another device (for example PS4 if you have).

If your capture Software lets you select different Video Sources, make sure PS5 is selected (Elgato Game Capture lets you select this). So having it connected to a USB Port (best on your Computer) is required. Some Capture Cards (such as Elgato) get their power through USB and don’t have their own power supply unit. Make sure the Capture Card is powered on.Make sure the latest Capture Card Firmware is installed (can usually be updated through the capture tool on Computer, depending on your capture card model).Make sure you’re using the latest version HDMI Cables.Make sure Cables are Connected Correctly (1) PS5 HDMI OUT > Capture Card HDMI IN / (2) Capture Card HDMI OUT > TV HDMI IN / (3) Capture Card USB > Computer USB.If it’s not a 4K capture card, you’ll have to buy a better capture card for 4K.

Check what maximum resolution your Capture Card can support.

Try lowering the resolution to 1080p and turn off HDR. Some capture cards cannot capture 4K or HDR.

If this doesn’t fix it, here are some other probable causes for the problem and how to fix them: Another trick to get around the whole HDCP issue is to use an HDMI Splitter that can filter out the HDCP Signal. The only downside is that you cannot use certain media apps on the PS5 while HDCP is disabled (such as Netflix). You may need to reboot your PS5, Capture Card, Computer and Capture Software if this doesn’t work right away. This will make all capture cards work (AverMedia, Elgato, Hauppauge HD PVR, PH4SBD, Digitnow, ZasLuke, Mirabox, Feitoo, MyPin, LiNKFor). Here’s how to turn off HDCP: PS5 Settings > System > HDMI > Enable HDCP > UNCHECKĪssuming your capture card, the cables and software are set up correctly, this will fix the problem.
